On 20 April 2010, the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) advised Nat Energy Resources Pte Ltd that it "has decided not to continue to allow the use of HC as refrigerant in air-conditioning systems owing to the hazards it imposes on the safety of occupants in buildings" in Singapore.

After several consultations between both parties, the SCDF decided to allow Nat Energy’s existing customers to continue using HC as refrigerant in air-conditioning systems for a moratorium period of five years, beginning 1 January 2012, provided the latter meets with the safety guidelines imposed by the SCDF.

We would like to apologise to any potential customer in Singapore that we are unable to provide Nat Energy Resources Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Technology as an energy savings solution. However, we are presently doing R & D on two new energy saving technologies and hope to enlighten you with more details in the middle of 2012, or earlier if the test results prove conclusive.


Signing the MOU

National University of Singapore Eusoff Hall (NUSEH) and Nat Energy Resources Pte Ltd signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on the 7th of October 2009 affirming NUSEH's commitment to reducing Global Warming. NUSEH agreed to convert all the 82 units of air-conditioning equipment housed in its premises to using NERPL's 'green' Hydrocarbon Technology which will result in at least 10% energy savings and concurrently the reduction of CO2 emission.


Marketing Partnership with APL ASIA Co., Ltd

Nat Energy Resources Pte Ltd has just entered into a marketing partnership with APL ASIA Co., Ltd to supply all RED TEK products in South-East Asia region. This partnership also covers certain ranges of Bacharach equipment which Nat Energy Resources Pte Ltd can supply in Singapore and Malaysia only.
